2 Super Bowl spots today! See ad & web only cut here! Plus all rejected ads.

Super Bowl Sunday is finally here!
See ad and Internet-only cut here:www.godaddy.com/gdshop/superbowl05/landing.asp

We’re going to have one 30 second ad that will run twice in today’s Super Bowl.

We’ll be running two spots.
The first ad will run in a stand-alone spot (how this came about is explained in my previous post). It airs sometime either late in the first quarter or in the second quarter. The second ad will run in position 22B, the second commercial in the 22nd commercial break.

As usual, we will have an Internet-only version.
This Internet-only version is particularly “GoDaddy-Esque." We plan on making it available shortly before the opening kick off. If you see the Internet-only version and like it, post a comment on the blog. More than 90 percent of the people who have seen the broadcast version of our Super Bowl commercial like it, according to our surveys. Typically, the vast majority of viewers watch it, enjoy it, then leave without making any comment. In contrast, those who are in the minority, watch it, become incensed and make it a point to blaze me on the blog. When my supporters leave without comment, it has the effect of taking ole' Bob and throwing me under the bus. Fortunately I have a pretty thick skin and am fine hearing from my critics, but would appreciate a little support. :)

Check out our 'Road to the Super Bowl.'
We have made available the chronology, with accompanying video and storyboards, of the steps we’ve taken to get our ad approved. As you will see by reviewing the chronology, we presented 13 submissions, which were all rejected. For each rejection we’ve provided a video, a storyboard or a screen shot. You can also see the approved ad here. You can be the judge if any of these submissions actually go too far.
