Hilarious... You SOLD me on following up Youtube with videoblogs!

I also wish Nigeria hadn't been singled out! I actually fell for a recent scam, because it's one of the only ones that slipped through my gmail (I know, I know!), and it was as American as apple pie. Maybe a while back Nigeria was the major source, of scams, but the badly written schemes originating in Africa are extremely obvious, you have to be a total internet fool to fall for them. (As you wittily pointed out)

Bob,

Perhaps you could redirect your cool url for the Pope to the real Catholic website and track the redirects and send the info to the Pope (his net folks anyway). Might be a way to connect GoDaddy with the big guy with red shoes. That would be quite a marketing coo.

Connecting Godaddy with the Vatican. GoDaddy goes spiritual! Obviously you are so why not put it out there? God works in mysterious ways I hear <grin>.

You never kow maybe we'll see the GoDaddy logo on the Popemobile :)

You should have said slash and shown / . Backslash () is wrong and won't work.

im thinkin you should make something of redpopeshoes.com....instead of having it just come back to your blog page...???
#4 mike on Jun 6 2008, 09:36 Reply
This is funny. Really liked it except for the Nigerian connection. Yes, I am from Nigeria but I know that Americans are more "fraudulent" than Nigerians. Either way, fraud is still shameful. But please do not single out Nigerians, please. That is not fair. But thanks for a good shot at the whole pope visit in a positive way. love you

LOL..Very amusing. My personal favorite was the popes new website that you purchased for him. Instead of redirecting to your blog, maybe you can photoshop the pope wearing the red coverse sneakers instead??? Just a thought...

I use the Google Apps for your domain for my email and it works very well
#8 Mike (http://www.haloclan.us) on Apr 25 2008, 05:13 Reply
Wrong on this, Bob. Why? Because Google kicks your ass. Really. They have tools that are innovative and work as a suite. I certainly DON'T think that 'everyone' on free email is something sinister.

Godaddy is great at what it does, so don't get me wrong. But Google tools are better.

Oh, way to mis-represent Al Gore. That was stupid because you cut out what he said next.
You know it. Cheap shot. Oh, where is YOUR Nobel prize.

I hated this commercial on the Pope, who is a DOPE.
#9 Kerry (www.uuchurchseaz.org) on Apr 23 2008, 20:25 Reply
Correction: I meant to say that Google Kicks Ass and not YOUR ass. I apologize for not proofreading.

I just like the new tools Google has and I don't mind Gmail and I don't think it's that big of a deal to have private email.

But, that is just an opinion.

GoDaddy is by far the best Hosting and Domain registrar in the business. They too have cool tools like the Host Management page, FTP tool, Statistical analysis, and more and more.
Yet Godaddy is the most inexpensive solution for hosting.
Should I also mention that it has the best customer service of any provider out there.

I just think Google and GOdaddy have different roles and I use both. I don't think any one business can become the best of everything because there is too much of everything.

Trust me, I am telling everyone about Godaddy and the great service it has.

rofl, i think Godaddy threatened you that they would ban you from buying more domains if you didn't praise them in what way or another lol

Bob: Inspired as always! And right on brand!

benny@redpopeshoes.com? The writer of that one deserves a bonus. Even smarter: Re-directing the domain to your blog site. Okay, so tell us ... how many hits to redpopeshoes.com since this aired? You know you're counting ...

Your video blog is a winner ... just like Danica!
Pretty soon you'll be calling the company GoDanni.com!

Dear Lori,

Probably won't be changing the name anytime soon, unless of course Danica buys it. :)

Haven't been tracking redpopeshoes.com.

Hi Bob,
Great video! I totally agree about the importance of a personalized email address - for what - less than $10 a year? (although I admit to using GMail to dump my email into and create public email addresses - ones I know will get spammed.) I just hope your customers are not using GoDaddy's Email Control Center to read/manage their email (it definitely is lacking speed and features.)

Otherwise, great stuff.
Rock on,

Great video, and I think the Pope would get a kick out of it!
But something I look forward to on Bob Parsons T.V. is seriously missing!
Where are The 3 Stooges clips?

Bob, LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's been an age since I've been on here, but I'm glad I popped in today. It sure got rid of my Monday morning blahs! LOL. I LOVE your video blog idea, and this Pope top 10 was priceless. (You should be a stand-up comic. I know a lot of them here in LA now, and you're as good or better.) I'll be back to catch up on all your happenings at GoDaddy. Hope you're doing well my friend.

BOb — you sound like you're from Baltimore.

Do you think the Pope might want my domain? He could have thePopeIsNotN@sshole.info as his email address.

Benny@redpopeshoes.com...loved it!

Don't take yourself too seriously, Pope Benny. Listen to Bob and plaster your new email all over the Popemobile. The next time the Popearazzi shoot your pimped-out new ride, you'll have more business than you can handle. You might even have to use Bob's free email forwarding option to send some of the workload directly to the big man upstairs.

Happy Monday, Bob ~

Lovin' your video Hot Points Blog - great fun and right to the point!

Congratulations to Danica!! She is a fine example of dedication, passion and perseverance - and we are so glad she was finally rewarded! Here's hoping for more wins to come in 2008. I'm glad she is on the Go Daddy team - Danica Rocks!

Is Candice Michelle healing okay? I just read about her collarbone injury... a tough break. I guess it comes with her territory.

Feeling like doing lunch this week? ; )

To continued success,

Good stuff, but couldn't afford to pay someone to make you a video blog widget? What's with the cookie cutter player from Adobe?

You guys are GoDaddy and you're using the generic player code that comes in the Flash help file?
